National Pancake Day is a treasured holiday among pancake enthusiasts, but, in 2021, we had to cancel it (on account of the global pandemic and all).

We rolled the campaign out in two parts: first, telling the world that National Pancake Day was cancelled. Then, the very next day, we gave “IOUs” for free pancakes that fans could redeem a few months later.
